has been working fine for almost two years now.talking about heavy office use, 2-3 times a day.would recommend.
I used mine daily for 4.5 years till we made an intl move. Great product and lasts for quite awhile.
Great capacity (7 cups). Had this product for about two years now and still running as if new. Boils water fast than stovetop. Love the auto-shutt of feature and the security feature that it will no turn on if there is no water in the kettle. Can only highly recommend this product.
This item arrived much too late and was the wrong color (black, even though I had clearly specified white).However the company has shown good faith by offering to refund the money which was charged to my credit card.
This water kettle is a dream. I purchased this water kettle in June as a lightening deal for approximately $30-ish. I can take the kettle to the shared bottled water dispenser for filling and if I get distracted and set it on my desk, there are no repercussions.
It shuts down as soon as the water has reached a boil. Because it is on my desk, the cord is really too short for where I use it: our electric do-dads are at floor level so I made due with a short extension cord. It boils water very quickly.
My only complaint is about the length of the cord. The kettle, itself, lifts off of a plate that contains the electronic gizmos. I have it on my desk at work and the automtic shut off and being able to remove it from the plate makes my life easy.
Works like a charm. As much as I want another one, there is no way that I'll pay $169 for it.
